Schmincke: Oil Bronze Powders 50ml

These Schmincke Oil Bronze powders are perfect for creating iridescent metal effects on oil paintings or other pre-primed surfaces, such as wood or metal. You will need to add a bronze medium containing cumarone resin. If you are working on absorbent surfaces, we suggest you pre-treat the surface with a turpentine substitute with some thinned bronze medium.

How to use: Mix 3 parts Oil-Bronze and 2 parts bronze medium with a painting knife - shortly before application. If necessary, thin with a turpentine substitute.

It will dry to a wipe and water-resistant finish, however colour layers with remain soluble to turpentine or a turpentine substitute after drying.
